Just Start. Do 10 Minutes.
This mindset drives my life.
I am too tired to ..... (fill in whatever task I need to do to move towards my dreams).
I shut off my computer and sit in utter exhaustion on the couch. I think about going to bed but Bailey just got in the bathtub and has an hour before she goes to sleep. There have been nights when I have gone to bed before her but I try to avoid that routine at all cost. She goes to bed at 8:00pm; I should be able to stay awake that long! .
I think about turning on the TV but that doesn't serve me. Meaning it won't restore me or help me realize my dreams.
So I sit for a few minutes and ponder, "What if I just did 10 minutes? What if I just wrote one paragraph of my next newsletter?" Then I would have at least done something.
I log back on and the next thing I know an hour has past and I have finished my next newsletter! . I was so happy and proud of myself.
I was awake long enough to say goodnight to Bailey. Plus I took action on realizing my dream of helping others reach financial freedom and live their best lives by finishing my newsletter!
It all started with 10 minutes. Even if I had quit after 10 minutes, it still would have been a victory because it was progress, action and forward movement.
Stop thinking about the entire task and start looking at things through the lens of 10 minute increments. This mindset will change everything.
